Video Upscaler

Upgrade your videos to higher resolution with improved clarity, sharper details, and cleaner textures — without changing motion or content.

Updated this week

The Video Upscaler is designed for creators who need pro-grade results, including NSFW content, and are willing to trade speed and cost for quality.

What the tool does

Video Upscaler takes an existing video and enhances it frame by frame using a high-end neural upscaling model. It increases resolution, restores fine details, reduces softness and compression artifacts, and preserves motion consistency.

This tool is ideal for:

  • preparing final videos for publishing,

  • improving low-resolution AI-generated clips,

  • restoring older or heavily compressed footage,

  • creating high-quality covers, previews, and hero clips.

The upscaler works on the entire video, not just keyframes, ensuring stable results across motion.

Key features

  • Upscaling up to 5K resolution

  • No censorship — supports both SFW and NSFW content

  • Preserves original visual quality at higher resolutions

  • Motion-aware processing to reduce flicker

  • Wide range of scale factors (2× up to 100×)

  • Automatic mode for safe, balanced results

Video Upscaler settings

Upload Video

Upload a single video file you want to upscale.

Tip: Best results come from clean inputs with stable motion. Heavy blur, extreme compression, or watermarks may limit final quality.

Scale Factor

Choose how much the video should be enlarged:

  • Max (Automatic) — recommended default
Automatically selects the safest and most realistic scale based on the source resolution.

  • 2× / 3× / 4× / 5× — common choices for social media and publishing

  • 6×–10× — aggressive upscaling for older or very small sources

  • 15×–100× — extreme cases only (testing, restoration experiments)

⚠️ 5K is the maximum output resolution. Selecting higher scale factors will not upscale the video beyond 5K.

Pricing & credits

Video Upscaler is a premium tool, and credit usage is calculated dynamically based on video size and duration.

Credit calculation formula

  • Credits = 2 × Megapixels × Duration × FPS Multiplier

FPS multiplier

  • < 30 FPS → ×1

  • 30–60 FPS → ×2

  • > 60 FPS → ×3

How this works

  • Megapixels — calculated from the video resolution (width × height).

  • Duration — video length in seconds.

  • FPS multiplier — higher frame rates require more processing and increase the credit cost.

Example:

  • Video: 0.90 MP, 5.4 seconds, 33 FPS

  • FPS multiplier: ×2

  • Credits = 2 × 0.90 × 5.4 × 2 ≈ 20 credits

Important notes

  • Longer videos, higher resolutions, and higher FPS values result in higher credit usage.

  • For cost efficiency, upscale final selected clips only, not drafts or test renders.

Why is it expensive?

High-quality video upscaling:

  • processes every frame individually,

  • uses large, memory-heavy neural networks,

  • requires significantly more GPU time than image upscaling or video generation.

Recommended workflow

  1. Generate your video using WAN, Kling, or Seedance.

  2. Review motion, composition, and content.

  3. Select the best clips.

  4. Run Video Upscaler on final picks only.

  5. Publish or export.

FAQ

Does Video Upscaler add or change content?

No. It only enhances resolution and clarity. The scene, motion, and actions remain the same.

Can I upscale NSFW videos?

Yes. The Video Upscaler supports both SFW and NSFW content with no censorship.

Should I use the maximum scale factor?

Only if necessary. For most cases, Max (Automatic) or 2×–4× gives the best results.

Is this tool fast?

No. This is a quality-first tool. Processing time depends on video length, resolution, and scale factor.

Why should I upscale video instead of regenerating it?

Upscaling preserves:

  • original motion,

  • timing,

  • facial identity,

  • camera behavior.

Regenerating a video can change the original scene and motion, and does not guarantee higher visual quality.
