Getting into The Lounge: access, waitlist, and first steps

How to get a place in The Lounge, what the waitlist means, and how to set things up on your first visit.

In short: access to The Lounge is free for everyone who gets a place. If all places are taken, join the waitlist and your spot is saved.

How access works

The Lounge is opening in waves, with a limited number of places for now. Open The Lounge and you'll see one of two things:

What you see	What to do
A place is available	Take it and go straight in. That's it.
All places are taken	Tap Join the waitlist. Your status changes to You're on the list, and your spot is saved.

We open access as new places become available. We can't share an exact date yet, and there's nothing else you need to do while you wait.

Don't see The Lounge in your menu?

At the moment, The Lounge shows up for accounts with Trusted Status. Trusted Status unlocks automatically once you buy any credit pack.

Your first visit, step by step

Step 1. Tell us who you'd like to meet.

Choose Women, Men, Non-binary, or All, and pick a character style: Realistic or Anime.

Step 2. Choose your name.

This is the name characters will call you in the chat.

Step 3. Tap Show me my matches.

You'll land on Discovery, and a few characters will message you first, with a free photo, to get the conversation going.

Your answers sort the characters, they don't filter them. Your best matches come first, and you can still see and chat with everyone.

Change your name or preferences anytime

Open the You in The Lounge window to update any of these:

Only the characters you chat with see this. Other users never do.

FAQ

I got a place, but I still see the waitlist page

Refresh the page or open The Lounge again from the menu. Your access will load.

I see "Could not load Lounge setup. Please try again."

Tap Try again. If the message keeps coming back, write to us in the support chat and we'll take a look.

When will I get access?

We're opening places in waves and can't promise a date. Your spot on the waitlist stays saved, so there's nothing else you need to do.

Does joining the waitlist cost anything?

No. Joining the waitlist is free, and nothing is charged while you wait.

Access is free, so why do photos cost credits?

Getting in and chatting are free. Photos, videos, and locked posts are extra content that you choose to unlock with credits, and you always see the price before you pay. See Photos, videos, and credits for the full list.

Can I change my answers from the first visit?

Yes. Who you'd like to see and the character style can be changed anytime in the You in The Lounge window, along with your name.

Is The Lounge the same as Companion?

No, they're different features. Companion has its own subscription and waitlist. The Lounge has no subscription: getting in is free, and you only use credits for the photos, videos, and posts you unlock.
